I honestly had no idea what I was getting into with this book, and I am so glad I went in blind. Dungeon Crawler Carl is the most fun I’ve had with a book in a long time. The plot and world building is unique but not too overwhelming to understand. I love the pop culture references and am continually laughing out loud. Who knew that a book about an alien invasion and subsequent Survivor/Squid Game reality show would have so much heart?
Jeff Hays is an absolutely phenomenal narrator. His talent is off the charts, and I definitely plan on listening to the rest of the series as well.
I absolutely love everything about this book.
