I like books that move along and don’t get too bogged down with details or emotions during action sequences. This does that with a good dose of humor and some character building worked into the story too. The narrator doesn’t really pull off the Irish accent and he sounds a little too old for the main character role. Otherwise he does a good job of differentiating between characters. Lots of violence and blood – but not too much. And luckily not really any animal cruelty. I am going to buy the next set to see what happens.
