The suspense in the story is nonsensical and manufactured. The plot barely makes sense. And the story is incredibly slow moving. The woman who narrates Anna delivers every line throughout the book in a breathless, agitated tone that is so grating. I hate finished this book. Katie Sise has some interesting books, but this one is definitely a skip.
