brutal, bizarre, and brilliant!

I didn’t expect to fall so hard for this book, but wow 🤩 what a ride. It’s not my typical genre and yet, I devoured it! The sheer creativity had me hooked. Don’t get me started on
Princess Donut 👑 Absolute perfection. She’s hilarious, over-the-top, and somehow exactly the comic relief (and unexpected heart) the story needs. And Carl!! He’s easy to root for. Ordinary guy, extraordinary circumstances, and a resilience that makes you cheer him on through every twisted trial. This first book sets up so much potential, and I’m genuinely excited to see where the story goes next. It’s brutal, bizarre, and brilliant.

Also Jeff Hays has FLOWN to the top of my favorite narrators list- I mean absolutely phenomenal, blow your socks (lol Carl you wish) clean off performance!!
