Overall, pretty good book, big fan of LitRPG in general, although, I am not a the biggest fan of the virtual world/ virtual reality sub genera in general. Regardless my main feedback in regards to the story is laid out below:
Main thing I have an issue with (very small spoiler) is just the ridiculous terms agreed to by the main character when discussing a legal agreement with the lawyer. Maybe it seems like a strange hang up but it just felt like a ridiculous and unbelievable plot piece to force the story line by the author. No way in any world is the main character stupid enough to agree to the terms outlined (terms obviously essential to the plot), especially considering the facts the main character is a relatively successful and seemingly smart person.
This small portion of the story is feeling hard to look past as much of the plot depends on this crucial interaction.
