I really like the whole joke of the story. The idea of people getting pre-determined life quests is a little bleak, but the whole thing of bread loaves being calamatously unobtainable is really funny.
The reader doesn’t really do voices for the characters, and the character descriptions aren’t super vivid. as the story went on, I found myself unable to tell who was speaking until they were done talking and the reader says who was talking. Then, I have to remember who that character is, assuming it isn’t one of the main two characters, and I’m lost.
All you have to do is make the voice a little different and you don’t even need to say who is speaking. I’ll know the priestess is the one with the cockney accent.
