What a riveting introduction to Sally Royer-Derr’s work—The Christmas Guest is my first book by her, and certainly won’t be my last.
I listened to the captivating audio narration by Oona Maya and Stacy Carolan while simultaneously reading the ebook, and both the story AND narration were superb! I was completely absorbed with the main characters; their depth made the stakes feel incredibly real. The secrets and mysterious plot kept me guessing until the very last chapter, as every character seemed both innocent and suspect! The ending was perfectly suited to the story, and I’m hoping it means there could be a sequel!
I can’t emphasize enough how much I highly recommend the Audible narration because the actors’ expressive voices will draw any reader/listener into the story as if you’re right there!
