If you take away ANYTHING from this review, it’s that you NEED to immediately listen to this audiobook. Zoë and Noah and ensemble did an amazingly incredible job bringing this story to life and it was so fun!
I will say that in the beginning, I was a little confused on how the story was set up structurally and POV wise but it was easy to settle into and enjoy the ride.
Cara Bastone really has a knack for writing these types of books for Audible and I’m so excited to consume all her works. I hope she does more like this in the future. I don’t know how she packs all this story into such a short and condensed and easily understandable piece of work; but she does and it’s literally phenomenal.
Sure there are plot holes and points that don’t get explained but somehow, in the moment it’s not important. You’re just living for the story that is here and now.
