At first I was’t sure if I was going to enjoy this book, but I was soon engrossed in it. When listening to audiobooks, the narrator is crucial and Maggi-Meg Reed does an outstanding job with this book. It took me back to my childhood in the early 60’s where I watched and waited for the mailman to arrive at our rural WI mailbox with treasured letters, birthday cards, and my Highlights magazine. This was a delightful experience of a petdon’s life all captured via letters, to and fro. The ending was fulfilling as well. Read or listen, well worth it!
