What did you love best about The Back Door Man?
The heaping on of issue after issue on James, and how the character evolved ( and was gradually exposed ) to the reader. Skillfully done, without being trite.
If you’ve listened to books by Dave Buschi before, how does this one compare?
My first book by this author. Unlikely to be the last.
What about David Stifel’s performance did you like?
He really nailed this one. Each of the charcter types , from the little girls to the Russian heavies, were honest, believable and moved the story forward.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a few times. I don’t cry much in general I suppose.
Any additional comments?
The ending is a too “neat” for my taste, and seems somewhat rushed, but aside from that quibble, this is a compelling story and well worth the credit.
