Would you consider the audio edition of Predatory Kill to be better than the print version?
Yes, as it’s an engaging book that does not get bogged down in detail. Listening to it make my commute go by quickly!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
As the “bad guy” in this book was the big banks that drove us to near financial ruin, I found myself cheering for the plaintiff. While there weren’t a lot of plot twists, it still kept me engaged throughout the book.
What does Bill Lord bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Bill Lord has a very energetic pleasant voice to listen to, and he brings the characters to life. His use of inflection keeps the drier parts of describing the financial and legal processes interesting and entertaining.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, when my favorite character was killed, although I wish the book would have closed that chapter with a little more detail on what happened to that person. (Don’t want to say too much and give anything away!)
Any additional comments?
Great, relatively short listen that I really enjoyed. I will definitely listen to more books narrated by Bill Lord
