the author must have wanted to lose money, nothing short of desiring to lose money could explain this choice. free speech, art, etc, yeah sure, still shot yourself in the foot. Why alienate half a demographic pie chart for a cheap laugh? what makes it worse is the characters described understanding aversion to blasphemy and choosing not to comment themselves earlier on. so the author knows its an issue. Unless the author sees himself as writing in a meta narrative for his own contract and compares it to the crawl… like wtf m8
