This is Cian’s story. When he first appeared book 2 of the series, he wasn’t in his right mind being cut off from Rory whom had suffered a mortal wound and was a ed in stasis in that book. He wasn’t a likeable character back then, but as the stories/books continued I learnt there was more to him. So this book explores his character, how his emotions are deep and that he can fall in love. Which he dies with Fenric a Caith-sidhe, who’s an assassin. They complement each other.
I loved listening to this book. The narrator did an awesome job.
