This story kept my attention from the start, through many books. It was the distraction I needed at a difficult time.There is something about listening to other people get through a crisis that makes you feel less alone when going through one yourself. I loved that the story was very clean and wholesome. The characters were well thought out and relatable. With a book that takes place in the aftermath of a crisis it is so important to have slow non-drama moments where you can just breathe -along with the characters- and get to know them and this book did just that. I was so thankful to find this series and highly recommend it! I even learned a few prepper skills!
