As a story this is excellent and enjoyable. It is Matt’s writing style, irreverent and clever, with great action sequences and dialogs. But it also felt as a great reflection and commentary of what our current internet/gaming culture has become. I felt it can very well stand next to other great contemporary books like ready player one or project hail Mary. It proves very well that Matt is much more than just the best litRPG author. If you loved DCC, this is for you.
