I was hoping for a grey aligned dungeon lord – maybe someone who is good but still shrewd with a unique premise. Instead this MC is literally Naruto 2.0. And the story as a result was very predictable, like it was following a formula for a typical shounen manga. It will make money, sure. It will garner an audience, sure. But that’s all.
