The book is slow to develop, feeling a bit like a cheesy Japanese isekai rip off. It really developed into its own interesting take on the genre with mature themes (not the NSFW kind) and clever twists. I found a number of characters that were fascinating and relatable. I’m looking forward to listening to the next book
