Very common story line, nothing really positive that stood out. I’m not ruling out giving the next book a try as the writing improved some towards the last quarter of the book.
Main issues
All dialog includes snark and it’s over the top
The overall tactics of the team do not make sense. Why drop a whole team to just reconnaissance when the drones of the ship are so advanced…and the military specific dialog is strange with very specific uncommon terms used at times and none in places where it would seem more appropriate. Also no in between characters either the characters great or everything they do sucks.
But it’s short enough and free so I’ll give the next in the series a try
