This was a good story. The narrators brought the story to life and it was immersive and touching. Matt did a great job with this work. The main character Oliver grows throughout the story and the side cast don’t really feel like side characters. They feel like real family. I enjoyed how many of the themes are congruent with current day events, and unfortunately relatable as it parallels subject matter as that occur in our lives today. This book made me laugh, cry, feel inspired, and ponder on what it means to be human. One of my favorite sci-fi reads of 2026 for sure.
