I don’t leave reviews, but sometimes stuff just gets to me.
when I start any book in the 2000s, I don’t expect to hear the word ‘retard’ much less three additional times, especially when there are so many words out there that would have been less controversial. I understand character choice but we can do better.
otherwise a general interesting story, the delivery was quite good and the characters are (sort of) likeable though they are realistic. the world is vast, and there really aren’t enough ‘dark magic’s MCs out there, which was very fun. probably won’t listen to again though.
