First of all, it’s a SoundBooth production, so the narration is stellar as always.

The setting and premise is very fun, and there is good world building. The mimic is always a fun character. the rest are odd. A lot of the dialogue is written at a low level, and very expository. Pretty much every character is completely bipolar, completely shifting tone, mood and motivation within a few paragraphs, making it hard to get invested in them.

Overall an enjoyable read, but I hope the character work improves in the sequels.
