Once again, the performance of all actors involved is superb. Highest marks across the (sound) board.

The plot lost me at several key moments but the performance kept me “trained” on the right track. Choo could almost say I was steaming ahead with no problems.

I just learned the term, “LitRPG.” I guess that’s what these stories are. It’s a shame. They feel very fan-servicey with the whole “let’s tell a story that appeals to gamers.” I’m not really a gamer and would rather the stories exist in their own sphere without the need to wink and nod at people who play Dungeons & Dragons. Every time the character mentions that game, or similar ones, I lose the immersion. Oh well. It’s still entertaining. That much is true. It remains to be seen, though, how much longer I can hold on.
