This is my first book by the author and I have long been wanting to read this book. Good thing I found this in the Audible Plus catalog, so I immediately jumped in to listen to it. The premise may sound a bit taboo, but I am happy that the author did not make it as such. The meet-cute was awkward and funny at the same time, it pretty much captivated me. I love how Tamsen can be awkward and careless and how Parker just smiled and took it all in. It is just adorable. The third-act breakup may be a bit shallow, in my opinion, but how things unraveled, together with Parker’s grand gesture made it all worth it in the end. All in all, this was a wonderful start to a series set in a wonderfully compelling setting, IMO. I look forward to reading the next two in the future.
