The premise was strong—obsession, murder, and legal drama—but the pacing was slow, and I really struggled with the female lead. I don’t mind flawed characters, but I lose interest when the FMC outright lacks common sense and makes decisions that just don’t make sense. Hayden was intense but some of his dialogue came off as a bit cringey and lacking believability. The narration was fine, but overall the story just didn’t deliver. This one was just okay for me.
