Loved this sci fi that felt near future because everything felt so similar to today. The idea of taking a whole planet that is the “wrong shade of patriotic” plus the look at what can happen when AI isn’t in check all feel like today’s world. Not a far away colony. Not at all subtle and I love that Dinniman had the guts to put himself out there like this. I had already read the ARC but the audio was a lot of fun. Wish there was more Jeff— like voicing all of Earth or Roger but it still worked.
