It’s like a dark fairytale. It gives Alice in Wonderland or Labyrinth but unfortunately it doesn’t go farther than a fairytale and you’re left almost offended that the writer had the audacity. Unlike fairytales that teach a lesson there is zero character growth. The main characters are exactly the same at the end as they were at the beginning. Could have been great but it leaves you wanting a more that doesn’t exist. Also I mostly enjoyed the narrator except he made the Seelie Prince sound to posh.
