Ok…so this is an incredible dark romance, which I was not expecting at all. A ton of degradation with the BDSM – completely unexpected. No non-con or dub-con. The original marriage for the FMC was so abusive that I just didn’t expect the rest of the story to be the way it is. No kink shaming – I just didn’t expect it. So for what it is, if it’s your thing, it’s really well done. Extremely well written, very well performed, and the background stories are all intertwined with some unexpected twists.
