Mackenzie’s POV really dragged for me—it felt slow and a bit dull. But once the story shifted to another perspective, things picked up fast and got much more engaging. When it switched back to Mackenzie, I was tempted to spoil it just to push through, though I stuck it out to see how it ended.

It wasn’t the incredible read some people hyped it up to be, but overall it was a solid, thrilling story with a few surprising emotional moments.
