Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 2 builds on everything that made the first book so addictive, but this time the story digs deeper, not just into the dungeon, but into the characters themselves.

Every major character shows meaningful growth in this installment. Carl becomes noticeably more empathetic, while Princess Donut, still the undeniable star of the series, begins to care about others instead of focusing solely on herself. That shift adds surprising emotional weight without losing the humor that makes this series so fun.

The expanded cast continues to shine, with Mortici quickly becoming a standout favorite (as he changes each book!). The writing remains sharp and engaging, and the audiobook performance somehow manages to outdo the first book. It is easily one of the best listening experiences I’ve had so far. Highly recommend this series!
