Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Most certainly. In fact, I’ve already loaned out my Kindle copy several times over.
What other book might you compare The Defiant One to and why?
The entire De Montforte series is so original that I can’t really compare to any others. If I had to compare it, however, I’d say Jennifer Ashley’s Mackenzie series would be slightly similar, as it features a family of strong, manly, and completely unforgetable brothers.
Which character – as performed by David Stifel – was your favorite?
Lucien, the dark and brooding Duke of Blackheath. That voice alone is worth downloading the entire series. I absolutely melted into a puddle.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed so hard at moments that I had to pause the book. Then I blushed so profusely at other times that I had to stop listening to it in public. It is just beautiful and you feel every emotion right along with the characters.

I love this entire series, both the books and the Audiobooks and recommend them to everyone!
