I’m not sure if this is due to listening – maybe it’s a better book to read. I’m normally a huge fan of both Travis and Matt, but this one just didn’t catch me. I couldn’t be interested in the characters, and honestly it was hard for me to figure out who all was involved at any one time. I couldn’t visualize what was happening, where they were, or what the stakes were. It felt like a lot of slow buildup to small payoffs. I’ll give it another try sometime in the future, but I’m not rushing to come back to this story.
