I loved this book and I did not want it to end. I laughed, I cried, I pondered. Sybil and the other main characters are so uniquely complex. I’m not sure if I would have loved this as much if I had read it to myself. The performance of this audio book was excellent and truly brought each character to life in a way that not many audio book performances have. The performances helped to form a mental image of what the characters would like look like. I know that reading it to myself would create such images, and I know that I would have created a voice for each character, but something about listening to this made it even more special.
