I absolutely loved the story of Bonded by Thorns — it’s creative, emotional, and full of that addictive fae romance energy that keeps you hooked. But the audiobook experience was really frustrating.

There were entire sentences, paragraphs, and even chapters missing in the audio version. If I hadn’t been reading along with the Kindle edition, I would have missed major details that are important to the plot and character development. For example, in the audio they never call the princes “High Princes,” even though that title is used several times in the book. They also refer to a rose as being black in the audio, but in the written version it’s described as golden. There were several inconsistencies like that — small things that add up and break immersion.

It’s really disappointing because I wanted to just listen and enjoy the story, but I constantly worried I was missing something important. The narrators did a good job with the voices and tone, but the editing and accuracy of the audiobook really took away from the experience.

If you plan to enjoy this story, I highly recommend reading along with the book instead of relying solely on the audio — otherwise, you’ll miss too much. I hope the publisher corrects these issues because the story deserves a better-quality audiobook.
