Don’t judge a book by its availability. You might miss a great story.

This book was chosen for a book club read and when I figured out it was an Audible only audiobook, I almost passed on it. But a couple others from book club gave it a chance so here I am, too. And I must say, WOW! I was not expecting this to be such a cute story. I wasn’t even sure what the storyline was when I started, but listening to June and Mikey try and pick out a theme for the book in the beginning had me curious of what was to come.

I am not usually the Hallmark love story type, but I loved this! Even being a bit, shall we say, unrealistic with the worm hole and calling from the future, the way the characters were showing real flaws and struggles, and the growth that happened made the characters feel so relatable. The lessons that are learned are ones that take some people years to figure out, yet Cara Bastone managed to fit it all into to a month in their timeline, and a mere 5 hours for us lucky listeners, without making anything feel rushed or unobtainable. This was a wonderful experience and I even found myself laughing out loud at several very relevant and relatable moments. What an excellent experience!
