You know. I really like the story. But something that’s started to get on my nerves is that we’re five books in, and it feels like donut hasn’t matured at all. Yeah I get she’s technically a kid or whatever mentally. But you can only drag that and the whole “she’s a cat” Schtick so far. Like Carl well explicitly say that something has to be a certain way in order for something to work out or say that you need to do this if this happens because if not, they’re gonna basically die and then donut just ignores all of it. And it’s kind of getting on my nerves. Like I said, I really enjoy the story and the premise isn’t something you really see too much. I’m going to finish this book, and start the next one, but if doughnut keeps acting the way that she does. Then I might not continue on with the series.
