It was a decent story, but.
This book seemed to be a training montage. It also seemed to set everything up for the next book.
The end was not unexpected based on how much time was left in the story, I prefer my stories to be mostly independent. It wasn’t a cliffhanger ending, but by the time the next book comes out I’ll need to start this book over for context on what is happening.
