Each book in the series gets better!

I listened to all three in the series. The last two in two days, I could not get enough of it! I loved it! Everything I said about the first two in my reviews here:

Still stands, except in this last instalment it gets even better!

I like zombie books simply because at times I enjoy the break from reality. I like the pure escapism offered by them. But so many in the genre seem to take themselves too seriously and create tension to the point that emotionally I have had enough. Life sucks at times enough that I don’t need to make up more ‘suckieness’… I know it isn’t a proper word, but who cares! This series is different. Every time there is tension, it is lightened by the sarcastic humour of Jace or another character! It is like watching a adult version of Itchy and Scratchy cartoon!

The only shortcoming for me was the end. Don’t worry I won’t give it away. The end does a adequate job of bring the series to a conclusion. But it doesn’t have too. It could continue. I hope it does, and if it does I would pre-purchase it!

The series started off in my top 10 went to top 5 and now is my favourite!
