Mr. McDermott, I seriously dislike you. Why? Because my emotions were on such a roller coaster while listening to this series. The third and final book actually brought tears to my eyes. I’m a 44 year old veteran law enforcement officer who’s witnessed a lot of hurt, despair, and sorrow. There isn’t much anymore that does that. You sir, succeeded masterfully! I highly recommend this series to everyone.
