I really liked this book. I thought the characters were likeable and realistic compared to some books I have read. Melody was level headed when dealing with Parker. There was not a lot of frustration over wishing they would just communicate better. They actually talked about things like adults and patiently helped one another work through their difficulties. It did run the gamet of emotions though. I laughed, Parker’s dry humor was wonderful. I cried, the first few chapters were heart breaking. I was surprised, the story takes a turn I did not expect at all. I was happy, the ending was everything you wanted it to be. I did not care for the epilogue. I understand why it was included, but it took the warm fuzzy feelings from the last chapter and stomped on them! I have read several books by this author recently, and have not been disappointed with any of them. Her style is clean, and the way the characters develop pulls you in. You can almost feel what the characters are feeling. I would recommend reading any of her books. The narrators were also great. They definitely added to the story more than taking away from it.
