This was my first experience with this author’s work, and I thought it was charming. My interest was piqued by the setting in Scotland, and I enjoyed how the author incorporated some of the myths surrounding the Isle of Skye into her story. I liked Emilia and Harry, and their confusion about their feelings were understandable as they had been friends for most of their lives. I enjoyed Mary Phillips’ narration as her performance enhanced the story’s entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
