Overall I enjoyed the book, the performances, as usual from this group are TOP TIER. Im really interested in monster evolution stories, where a monster evolves and grows during the story, and while this does happen in this book, a vast chunk of this story is muddied with a Drow/Dwarf war where the MC is caught in the middle and the evolution is totally forgotten. The leveling and evolution only picks back up at the end of the book and by then the story is over…. Mind you this is just my preference, if you like the politics and squabbling, and a TON of “SIMS” gibberish language, you will probably adore it. I will definitely still check out the next book still.
