So without any spoilers, I love the banter between the characters. Especially the two main characters. Rock’s voice and personality (to me) are if you took Cookie Monster’s voice with Skippy’s ego (Expeditionary Force by Craig Alanson) and Oberon’s (Iron Druid by Kevin Hearne) obsessive personality and mashed them together into a hammer. That is Rock. I’m obsessed with him. I want to have the privilege to pat him on the head. Impatiently awaiting the next book.
