This is now the third book in this series that I have listened to and they just keep getting better. The story is great and I have no doubt would be good when eyeball reading, but holy s*** the audio performance from Jeff Hays is something to behold. I would encourage anyone who hasn’t tried audiobooks to make this series the one you try. It will change your whole perspective on what audiobooks can be.
Also, these books, while packed with action, also have sentimental moments where if found myself tearing up for a moment. It takes a truly gifted writer to make you laugh and cry on the same page. Bravo Matt!
