HOW DID I MISS THIS BEFORE NOW? and I thought I was a Lily Morton fan – who has read/re-read, and listened to Merry Measure no less than 6 times – and yet this is my first go round with On Circus Lane. I blame the reverse publishing schedule and the distraction of … life. In any case, Bee and Tom’s story is exactly what I’ve come to expect/desire/crave/need from Morton – witty, cringy, funny, smexy, and at times just plain adorable. Joel Leslie is the voice of Morton’s work (yes, all of it) for me and does a fantastic job as always. Bonus, it’s a fitting intro to Merry Measure!
