Wonderful contrast to book 1. Great writing and the femdom omega slant was just right- different enough to be erotic but not taken so far the MMC seems weak willed. He is anything but and I love how he yields his strength only when it suits him because he adores the FMC. Loved the FMC had short hair and genuine love for her flawed family. The cameo by Wayne Mitchell as the Berserker had me cheering! If you don’t know, Wayne Mitchell voices an entirely different fantasy series called “Path of the Berserker”. It was a joy to hear him pop up here.
