I loved how this book tied into the original story, but still stood alone enough to be able to jump right into without having to reading the others first. Though I did. The continuation of stories and references to them was great, and I loved the pacing of the story, and the characters too. the narration was carried out wonderfully as well, and I look forward to more works from the author and narrator both.
