This series is excellent! This is not my usual genre but I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. The characters are well rounded and the character growth through the series is well done. While Donut can be annoying sometimes, she does grow as a person and Carl is a good balance for her. There’s a lot of fun in these books as well as some touching moments.
