This book is a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast (BeastS in this series) but it has so much more depth and magic, and brooding, and banter, and some very nice spice! This is a why choose reverse harem and I am so here for it! This book has MF and MM in it.
I really enjoyed learning about Rosalina and her character of where she came from and her personality. She is super relatable. It will be cool to see her development over this series.
We only really got glimpses of the 5 princes and their story which makes sense as this is the first book in the series. I’m excited to see where they go as well as this re-telling is darker and just more in the best possible way.
Both Stefanie Kay and Robert Hatchet do a superb job at the narration! I truly think duet narration for this book is absolutely perfect. I did not listen prior to the duet update, but I can’t imagine it any other way now. It just makes sense with the multiple POVs and characters in each chapter.
SUPER excited to continue and so looking forward for the rest of the series to be re-released and then book 5-7 being released in Duet as well when the book release dates get here.
15/10 would highly recommend for those who enjoy darker re-telling of well known fairy tale stories.
