I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Adair is a retired warlock PI, hiding from life, until a young teenager crashes into his life, begging for his help. His life is chaos from that moment, and I was along for every page of it. The banter and storytelling were absolutely on point. Brea and her teenage heart and relentlessness helped bring the story forward when Adair didn’t see the point in continuing. Add in a chaos god, and it was a great time. The pacing was awesome, and I genuinely found it difficult to find a stopping point from one chapter to the next. As always, Soundbooth Theater did a phenomenal job on the audio production as well.
