This long audio book was interesting the whole way through. I knew very little about the author of one of my all-time favorite books, so I thought it was about time to learn! I loved picking out the influences for GWTW in Margaret Mitchell’s early life and hearing how she came to write it. The reception of the book worlwide and the aftermath of Mitchell’s sudden fame, the selling of the film rights, the making of and release of the film, and the legal battles over the authors’ rights were also of particular interest. Recommended!
